With Ellyas suffering a motorcycle accident, Hassan started in the first eleven as he shows what he is capable off during the training session. Not to forget Yazmil, Darwis and Alif not present in the squad during the match, CPW need to rely on Yusof and Saifuddin at the back. Ong, who is back to play for CPW also started in this match. The game start off rather sluggishly for CPW as they do not get to control the possession of the ball much. A quick throw-in by Noman and a well placed shot from Remi helped CPW lead the game which in this case was surprising as they never really settled down. 1-0 to CPW. The opponent best chance of the game came from their right midfield player. He was opened at the back, almost 3 meters away from goal when the ball suddenly bounce in front of him. But he was denied by Yusof who deflected off the shot for a corner. A relief for CPW. Before the end of the first half, a shot from Noman was punch off by the goalkeeper into the path of Hassan. It was only a kiss away from goal but instead Hassan shot was way off target. First half ended 1-0. Second half started better for CPW as they are holding the ball more this time around. Then, the opponent got lucky as a shot was deflected towards one of their player and he just placed it in. 1-1 now. Soon after that, a shot from A. Hafiz hit the post before it was scrambled into the feet of Dzhuri before he placed it into the bottom corner of the goalpost. 2-1 CPW leads. CPW could have won by a bigger margin as Remi hits the post for the second time around and some of the shots was saved by the opponent keeper.
